Student Comments:
"This course is useless for business students."
"She was nice but she had a hard time controlling the class and she was somewhat confusing when she explained things."
"This class is hard. The professor is nice, but what she teaches makes no sense. Unless you go to her office hour."
"The class was taught very well but sometimes subjects and concepts were overcomplicated."
"Really liked how she took notes along side us."
"Wrote too much, made things more confusing."
"Hilary is an awesome teacher. She really knows and loves this subject. My grade may not reflect it but she has really helped me learn calculus. I really feel like I understand the math we are doing."
"Make quizzes have unlimited attempts."
"You are great, Hilary! Thanks for the time you invested into teaching us. Sorry everyone packs up early, I know it is frustrating. Enjoy the summer!"
"She is smart but class tests are hard. Sometimes I felt the subjects we learned were easier than the material on the actual test."
"Hilary is a smart young lady, however she isn't the best at teaching a whole lecture. Pretty boring class and using the term 'stuff' is childish."
"I am a member of the Livestock Judging Team. Hilary was always very understanding about moving exams and quizzes to fit our Judging trips. Also, I have spoken with others who are taking this same course with a different instructor. From what I can tell, Ms. Smallwood is extremely good at explaining course materials."
"Great teacher! She knows what she is doing!"
"Class was easy for me."
"Solid course, class needs to be better maintained."
"I felt that the examples in class weren't the best due to the fact that the problems given in the homework, quizzes and exams were more complex and not as simple. Also sometimes the material gone over was repetitive."
"There is not enough time in a 50 minute class to take the tests! My grade suffered b/c I took all 50 minutes each time, and couldn't go back and check answers."
"Hilary knew her stuff when it came to the actual math/equations, but her knowledge of business applications was limited."
"Needed to talk louder or use microphone since it was a large classroom."
"She knows what she's talking about but could do a better job of getting the class to shut up."
